The 30-Day Operations Reset

Your three worst workflows, off the spreadsheet in 30 days.

Working software your team logs into, with the source code yours on day 30. Not a prototype.

You see a wireframe of your own operation before you pay anything.

Twenty minutes. We tell you on the call if this is not the right answer.

One price, everywhere

$5,000

Held until 31 December 2026, then it rises. The date is fixed so you can plan around it.

5 working modules, 3 of them custom to you

Deployed into your systems, source code yours

Nothing deploys until the signed checklist passes

50% at kickoff, 50% on your written acceptance of the working demo. Nothing before that.

Two builds in delivery at a time. Waitlist when full.

Before you commit to anything

Off the spreadsheet in 30 days, without stopping your line.

Even if the last developer you hired left you with nothing.

Twelve questions, about two minutes, and a straight answer on whether your setup is bad enough to justify custom software yet. If it is holding up fine, the scorecard says so and tells you not to bother.

Take the Spreadsheet Tax Scorecard

There is no call and no pitch. Your score appears on screen as soon as you finish.

A cluttered desk covered in scrunched paper and notes, seen from above.

The Spreadsheet Tax

Nobody sends you an invoice for this. You pay it anyway.

It comes out of hours rather than cash, which is why it survives budget season every year.

External

One wrong cell, and the sheet the whole floor depends on is quietly wrong all day.

External

The WhatsApp group takes two hundred messages a day, and none of it is findable by Thursday.

Internal

I know this spreadsheet is going to break someday. I just hope it is not today.

Internal

My business runs on me. If I take a week off, things fall apart by Wednesday.

Philosophical

You hired experienced people and then handed them tools that make them do clerical work.

Philosophical

Your operation is not an edge case. It is the case, and software should have caught up to it by now.

Book a 20-minute fit call

Six months from now the sheet holds more data, and the one person who understands it is a job offer away.

We have been in your server room

You are not behind. You are just past what a spreadsheet can carry.

Spreadsheets are how almost every operation starts, and they work for longer than anyone expects. The break arrives as one wrong cell on a Tuesday, or the realisation that one person has become the only route to an answer. We build the boring, load-bearing software that takes that weight off the people carrying it.

Two workers reviewing a clipboard together beside metal warehouse shelving.

Since 2021

Building operational software

The same senior team, shipping under our WebXLR8 practice. BuildXLR8 is the offer built on top of that, and it is new.

Around 100

Clients served

We can say we worked with them, not what the result was, because we did not measure it well enough to claim it.

Three

Products we run, not just build

Opvello is live in three verticals with a paying customer in each. We hold the uptime, which is different exposure to shipping and walking away.

Two

Builds in delivery at a time

Five senior people, hard capped at two. That is arithmetic behind the No-Deprioritisation Guarantee, not a promise about intent.

On the other side

One screen, one version of the truth

A new hire is useful on day three

The senior person can take a week off

You can finally see where it leaks

Already built

What we built, and what it replaced.

Textile manufacturing and distribution. India. Built with the WebXLR8 practice.

Stacked inventory boxes on warehouse shelving, photographed at an angle.

The honest part

We will not tell you we made them forty percent more efficient, because we did not measure it. We will tell you we replaced the spreadsheets and the paper delivery notes.

Before

Spreadsheets and paper delivery notes across several branches, where nobody could tell what a roll was or where it sat without walking the floor. They came to us for one system across every branch that their own staff could run.

After

  • Tracks the full lifecycle: inward from the dying houses, outward to customers, and returns
  • Each branch runs its own delivery notes rather than one shared pad
  • A printed sticker per roll, so identifying stock is a scan and not a memory test
  • Role-based access, so staff see only the part of the operation that is theirs
  • Inventory levels and movement on one dashboard

The plan

Three steps, and the first two are free.

You find out whether this is right for you, and what it would look like, before you are asked for anything.

Book a 20-minute fit call

We work out whether custom software is even the right answer. If it is not, we say so on the call and point you somewhere more useful.

20 minutes
02

See it before you buy it

A wireframe of your operation running clean, plus the acceptance checklist in your words. Both yours to keep even if you walk away here.

Within a few days, at no charge
03

Your team logs into working software

Live in your own cloud and repository, with the source code and the training. The spreadsheet is retired.

Day 30
Book a 20-minute fit call

Step one costs you twenty minutes and nothing else.

What you actually get

Eight things, and the first two arrive before you pay.

Values are what each part costs bought from us on its own. We will walk you through any of them on the call.

The Operations Map

$1,800

Free, yours to keep either way

A wireframe of your operation running clean, from one 20-minute call. Yours to keep even if you never hire us.

The signed acceptance checklist

$700

Free, yours to keep either way

Every line the software has to pass, in your words, signed by both sides before a dollar moves.

Three custom workflow modules

$9,000

Your three highest-friction workflows, built as software your team uses on the floor.

The access layer

$2,200

Accounts and role-based permissions, so nobody sees or deletes what they should not.

Deployed into your systems on day 30

$1,200

Your cloud, your repository, full source and IP. No licence, no seat fees.

The handover pack

$1,400

Documentation, written procedures and screen-by-screen videos, so a new hire runs the board on day three.

30 days of hypercare

$1,500

A senior engineer from go-live, not a support inbox. Week two is when software breaks.

The parallel-run promise

Included

Your spreadsheet keeps running the whole 30 days. About four hours of your time, total.

Bought separately $17,800

You pay

$5,000

Held until 31 December 2026. 50% at kickoff, 50% on your written acceptance of the working demo. Nothing before that.

Our promise to you

The four things people say before they say yes.

"We got burned by a developer before."

You see the wireframe and sign the checklist before any money moves.

"What if it does not work either?"

Then we keep building at our own cost until the signed checklist passes.

"It will eat my team for six weeks."

About four hours of your time. Your spreadsheet keeps running the whole 30 days.

"We will be locked into your platform."

The code lands in your cloud and your repository on day 30. No licence, no seat fees.

01

The Signed Checklist Guarantee

Nothing deploys until every item on the checklist we both signed passes.

There is no cash refund, and here is why rather than fine print. A cheque leaves you thirty days older and still on the spreadsheet. You want the thing to work, so the guarantee is that we finish it.

  • Written and signed before any money moves
  • If it does not pass, we keep building at our own cost until it does
02

The On-Time Terms

10% off per week late past a two-week grace, capped at 50%.

A date nobody pays for is a date nobody keeps. This one costs us if we miss it.

  • Triggers only when the slip is ours, not when the scope or your inputs move the date.
  • Credited against the fee, capped at 50%.

Both of these are contract terms, not marketing copy. Ask to read them on the call.

Proof

No testimonials here yet, and here is why.

Nobody has finished one yet. You would be among the first, and a stock photo with a made-up quote would be the fastest way to lose you. So here is what we can put behind it instead: systems we have already built, and terms we will sign.

No metric on this page we cannot defend

A membership operation lifted off a WhatsApp group

Membership and community platform, India

A WhatsApp group used as the system of record, with the owners hand-brokering every introduction. An earlier attempt at software by another firm had not held, so they had gone back to WhatsApp.

  • Moves entries out of a chat thread into records the owners control
  • An approval step in front of anything published, so they keep control without reading every message
  • Runs day to day without the owners standing in the middle of it

Our first client as a company, and still a client today. They went on to refer three further projects

A booking and payment desk with a live availability view

Property sales, UAE

Availability held outside any system the team could query, on a project where the previous build existed but the code had never been handed over.

  • One screen for the back office to manage bookings, with fees collected through Stripe
  • Availability shown visually, colour-coded from the building down to the unit
  • Works on a phone, where most enquiries actually arrive

Built with the WebXLR8 practice

Is this you

What your three modules could be, and who this is not for.

Every build includes authentication and role-based access control. The custom three are chosen during Map, against whatever is actually costing you.

Manufacturing

  • The production schedule board
  • The quality check capture
  • The inventory count sync

Logistics

  • The dispatch board
  • The driver log capture
  • The customer status link

Trading and distribution

  • The order intake form
  • The approval router
  • The shipment tracker

Import and export

  • The consignment tracker
  • The document vault
  • The landed cost calculator

Good fit

  • Manufacturing, logistics, trading, distribution, import and export
  • Roughly 10 to 500 people, running on Excel, WhatsApp, email or paper today
  • Five workflows with state, roles and notifications, not a research project
  • An owner or senior lead who can show up for one hour in week one and short check-ins after

Not a fit

  • Enterprise ERP replacements for SAP, Oracle or NetSuite
  • Multi-tenant SaaS products serving millions of end users
  • Real-time GPS or ELD hardware integration inside the 30 days
  • Anything needing a formal SOC 2 or HIPAA audit inside the 30 days

FAQ

What people ask before they commit.

Anything not on this list? Book the call and we will work through it together.

I hired a developer before and got burned. Why is this different?

You see the thing before you pay for it. After one call we build a wireframe of your operation and write the acceptance checklist together, both free and both yours to keep. The balance is only due once the working demo is accepted.

Why $5,000? I can get a freelancer for half that.

A freelancer at half the price needs several builds running at once to make rent, and yours becomes the one that slips. We run two at a time, the founders are accountable on every one, and if the checklist does not pass we keep building at our own cost.

Can you really build this in 30 days?

Five modules, not an entire platform, and two of them are standard. Thirty days works because the scope is tight and locked in writing before we start. If what you need is bigger, we say so on the call.

Who owns the code?

You do, outright. It lands in your cloud and your repository on day 30 with full source and IP, documentation and training. No licence, no seat fee, no platform to be locked into.

What happens after the 30 days?

The first 30 days of live use are covered, with a senior engineer rather than a support inbox. After that you can carry on into BuildXLR8, move onto the Assurance care plan, or run it yourself.
